RN - Off Campus Emergency Department - Union Gap
About The Position
MultiCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Off Campus Emergency Department team in Union Gap. The nurse will provide specialized emergency nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a supportive nursing environment where nurses participate in clinical decision-making, communicate openly, and develop professionally. MultiCare’s Off-Campus Emergency Departments provide community-focused emergency care through experienced physicians, nurses, and clinical teams. This position is 0.9 FTE on evening shifts, working 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends. The posted pay scale is $41.94–$75.89 USD; pay depends on factors including skill set, experience, certifications, and education, and may follow the applicable union pay scale. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered, subject to the stated conditions.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Minimum of one year of emergency nursing experience is required; the requirements section specifies two years of full-time RN experience in an ER or comparable experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications; department-specific requirements state these must be active.
- NRP required within 90 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in a specialty area preferred.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
- Apply nursing education and experience to provide care using the nursing process and follow hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost effectiveness.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
