RN - Off Campus Emergency Department - Union Gap
About The Position
MultiCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Off Campus Emergency Department team in Union Gap. The role provides emergency nursing care using a multidisciplinary approach and the nursing process, with nurses participating in clinical decision-making and collaborating to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost outcomes. MultiCare’s Off Campus Emergency Departments provide neighborhood-focused emergency care in community locations across Washington. This position is 0.9 FTE, with day shifts of 12 hours and alternating weekends. The posting identifies a pay range of $43.41–$78.55 USD; actual pay depends on factors including skills, experience, certifications, and education, and may follow the applicable union pay step.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS and PALS certifications are required; the department-specific requirements state these must be active.
- NRP certification is required within 90 days of hire.
- At least one year of emergency nursing experience is required by the department-specific requirements.
- Two years of full-time RN experience in the ER or comparable experience are listed in the requirements.

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in a specialty area.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating it on an ongoing basis.
- Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process and according to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience, and cost outcomes.
- Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
- Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
