About The Position
Pleasant View Communities is seeking a part-time RN Staff Development Coordinator for its Life Plan Community in Manheim, Pennsylvania. The coordinator develops, organizes, and directs in-service education; conducts new-hire orientation; supports staff skills competency training and CPR training; attends interdisciplinary team meetings; and participates in the Quality Assurance program. The role is primarily day shift, requires some schedule flexibility based on facility needs, and includes on-call rotation responsibilities.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- At least two years of experience in a nursing care facility.
- Experience in supervision and in the principles and practice of teaching.
- At least five years of recent nursing or clinical experience, including management-level roles.
- Current knowledge of state and federal regulations pertaining to long-term care.
- Current CPR certification.
- Leadership, communication, organization, and positive interpersonal skills.
- Creativity, integrity, and initiative.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
