About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join the hospital-based Emergency Department team at Deaconess Hospital. The RN applies specialized nursing knowledge and training to provide care using a multidisciplinary approach and the nursing process. The role is scheduled at 0.9 FTE on night shifts, with 12-hour shifts and alternating weekends. Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the Spokane region and offers emergency services as well as a Level III Trauma Center and other specialized programs.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• At least one year of Emergency nursing experience is required for this department position.
• Active BLS certification is required.
• Active ACLS and PALS certifications are required for this department position.
• One year of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Certification in a specialty area preferred.
