About The Position

The RN Clinical Manager provides leadership, supervision, and coordination of therapy services to ensure high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective patient care. The role maintains fiscal responsibility and facilitates patient-care communication while supporting referrals, scheduling, patient visits, and documentation as needed. The position also supports staff training and participates in on-call coverage.

Requirements

Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing.
Current RN license specific to the state(s) assigned.
At least 1 year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
At least 1 year of RN management experience.
Current CPR certification.
Pass a drug test before beginning employment.

Responsibilities

Recommend staff employment decisions to the director of operations, including hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or status changes.
Be responsible for the overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
Organize clinical operations for the care center.
Review service requests and determine patient eligibility and suitability for home care services; coordinate referrals and admissions with intake.
Oversee scheduling.
Oversee payor verification and precertification requirements.
Review staff documentation and ensure missing, incomplete, or untimely documentation issues are resolved.
Assist clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities, and developing the Plan of Care.
Regularly evaluate patient needs and collaborate with clinicians on necessary revisions to the plan of care.
Provide direct patient care infrequently in emergencies, as needed.
Participate in the on-call process.
Assist with staff training to ensure quality care, compliance, and fiscal responsibility.
Participate in investigating and resolving patient, family, and physician concerns.
