About The Position

UCB is seeking a Rheumatology Clinical Account Specialist to strengthen its Rheumatology Sales Team. The role covers North and South Dakota and part of northern Minnesota, including Bemidji. The specialist drives demand for an assigned product by communicating its clinical features and UCB’s value, while building relationships with clinical decision makers and office support staff. The role aims to create the best possible experiences for patients with severe immunologic diseases who are treated in the home-care setting. The specialist works toward product-volume sales goals and other accountabilities, including reach and frequency with stakeholders in an assigned call plan. They develop an understanding of the patient journey and the at-home care setting, communicate clinical information and patient support services, and collaborate with UCB colleagues across a matrix organization. The position requires understanding local care ecosystems, payer and pharmacy-benefit environments, access barriers, and the competitive marketplace. UCB describes its work approach as hybrid-first, with teams gathering in local hubs. Unless the job description states otherwise or the nature of the role precludes it, roles are hybrid with 40% of time spent in the office.
