About The Position

UCB is seeking a Rheumatology Clinical Account Specialist to drive demand for an assigned product across North and South Dakota, including Bemidji, Minnesota. The role reinforces the product’s clinical features and UCB’s value, builds relationships with clinical decision makers and office support staff, and supports positive experiences for patients with severe immunologic diseases treated in the home care setting. The specialist works toward product-volume sales goals and other accountabilities, including reach and frequency with stakeholders in an assigned call plan. The position requires understanding the patient journey and local care-delivery ecosystems, including pharmacy benefits, payers, access restrictions, and barriers. The specialist works collaboratively with healthcare professionals, support staff, and UCB colleagues across a matrix organization to address customer needs and opportunities. UCB describes its work approach as hybrid-first; unless the position’s nature or description precludes it, employees spend 40% of their time in the office. The role’s territory and field responsibilities are specified, but the posting does not state a separate work location arrangement for this position.
