RevOps Application Manager

Reco•Wilmington, DE

About The Position

Reco is seeking a highly technical, hands-on RevOps Application Manager to own the systems, automation, and technical infrastructure that support its go-to-market (GTM) organization. Salesforce is central to the GTM ecosystem. The role partners with Revenue Operations and cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to turn business needs into scalable systems and automation. It is not a traditional Salesforce Administrator role; the manager is expected to architect, build, troubleshoot, and continuously improve GTM systems, and to own technical execution across the revenue lifecycle—from lead management and routing through pipeline, forecasting, deal desk, customer handoffs, expansion, and renewals. The role owns the day-to-day health, architecture, scalability, and development of Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack. It builds and maintains Salesforce Flows, Apex, validation rules, custom objects and fields, approval processes, and automation frameworks. It also identifies opportunities to automate or redesign inefficient workflows, develop AI-enabled workflows, improve seller productivity and pipeline visibility, and embed operational discipline and data quality into systems. The manager serves as the first technical owner for issues across Salesforce and other GTM applications, diagnosing production failures, resolving root causes, and building monitoring and error-management processes. The role builds and maintains integrations with applications such as HubSpot, Gong, Chili Piper, and Clay using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native integrations. It owns the development lifecycle from requirements and solution design through build, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-release validation, while maintaining documentation, disciplined testing, and release practices. The position also maintains data quality and system integrity, protects the reliability of pipeline and customer data, and works with RevOps leadership and business partners to design systems that support GTM strategy. It advises on architecture and technology decisions, communicates technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, documents functionality, trains end users, and supports adoption. The role operates in coordination with Security and IT requirements, including access control, change management, and SaaS security practices.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development or administration, RevOps systems, GTM systems engineering, or a similar technical role.
  • Advanced expertise with Salesforce Flow, including complex record-triggered flows, scheduled flows, subflows, fault handling, and scalable Flow architecture.
  • Strong hands-on Apex expertise, including reading, troubleshooting, modifying, and developing Apex classes and triggers.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, including custom objects, data models, validation rules, approval processes, permissions, permission sets, sharing, and security.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot complex Salesforce production issues and determine root causes quickly.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native connectors.
  • Experience with GTM applications such as HubSpot, Gong, Chili Piper, Clay, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of GTM processes, including lead lifecycle management, enrichment and routing, opportunity management, pipeline, forecasting, deal desk, attribution, customer handoffs, expansion, and renewals.
  • Proficiency with SOQL and Salesforce data-management tools.
  • Experience with release management, sandbox strategy, QA, UAT, and production deployments.
  • Salesforce certification is required.
  • Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in environments with formal Security, IT, access-control, and change-management requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS security concepts, including least-privilege access, SSO, OAuth, API authentication, connected applications, service accounts, secrets and credential management, and data governance.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Security and IT teams while maintaining the speed required by a high-growth GTM organization.
  • Strong judgment about when a change can proceed quickly and when it requires additional security, architectural, or production review.

Nice To Haves

  • Python, SQL, JavaScript, or additional development experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture, day-to-day health, scalability, and ongoing development of Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce Flows, Apex classes and triggers, validation rules, custom objects and fields, approval processes, and automation frameworks.
  • Translate RevOps strategy and complex business requirements into scalable solutions supporting the full revenue lifecycle.
  • Identify inefficient or manual GTM processes and build automation, including AI-enabled workflows, to improve productivity, visibility, data quality, and execution.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues involving Salesforce, GTM applications, flows, Apex, permissions, integrations, and data; conduct root-cause analysis and implement lasting fixes.
  • Build monitoring, alerts, fault handling, and error-management processes for revenue systems.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize integrations between Salesforce and GTM applications, including HubSpot, Gong, Chili Piper, and Clay, using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and native integrations.
  • Troubleshoot synchronization and integration issues, partner with vendors and internal stakeholders, and help evaluate new GTM technologies.
  • Own the technical development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through build, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-release validation.
  • Maintain sandbox development and testing practices, conduct production-change impact analysis, and establish scalable change- and release-management practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation for automations, integrations, objects, workflows, and system dependencies.
  • Conduct recurring Salesforce data-quality and CRM-hygiene audits; identify technical debt, unused fields, automation conflicts, broken processes, and opportunities to simplify or redesign architecture.
  • Build controls to protect the integrity of pipeline, forecasting, attribution, territory, lead, opportunity, and customer data.
  • Partner with RevOps leadership and teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Security, IT, and other GTM functions to design and implement systems and workflows.
  • Recommend scalable and technically sound solutions, challenge requirements when appropriate, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document new functionality, train end users, and help drive adoption.
  • Advise RevOps on GTM systems architecture, automation, and technology decisions while balancing speed with security, architectural, and production review requirements.
