About The Position

The Revival Server provides quality customer service by demonstrating excellent knowledge of menu items and serving food and beverages promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately. The role advocates for the rooftop bar, creates highly personalized guest experiences, and builds relationships that encourage guests to return. The server works primarily outdoors during most of the shift and collaborates with support staff and management to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

The position includes serving guests, handling orders and payments, maintaining food and beverage knowledge, and supporting restaurant operations. Team members may also take on responsibilities outside the duties listed, as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• CA Food Handler and RBS Certifications are required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
• Knowledge of or ability to learn the restaurant POS system.
• Ability to calculate bills accurately and handle credit cards and money properly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
• Highly motivated, flexible, and able to take initiative.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

• Enhanced beverage knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to the team while keeping work areas clean, dry, and safe.
• Greet and welcome guests and promptly attend to tables.
• Receive guest orders and enter them into the POS system quickly and accurately.
• Prepare and serve meal accompaniments.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of food, wine, beverage menus, and general restaurant information.
• Help ensure guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience and relay complaints to management.
• Perform sidework.
• Open bottled wine for guests and provide wine service.
• Set up and break down stations, including deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso stations.
• Assist with setting and bussing tables, taking to-go orders, seating guests, and answering phones as needed.
• Attend required company and restaurant trainings and meetings.
• Maintain communication with support staff and management.
• Take on responsibilities outside the listed duties when needed.
