About The Position

The Revival Server provides attentive, accurate, and courteous service to rooftop bar guests. The role involves building personal connections, sharing knowledge of menu offerings, and helping create memorable guest experiences that encourage return visits. The position requires working the majority of the shift outdoors and collaborating with coworkers and management to maintain safe, clean service areas. Team members may also take on responsibilities outside the listed duties as needed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
CA Food Handler and RBS certifications.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Ability to learn, retain, and present product, menu, and allergy information to guests.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn, the restaurant POS system.
Ability to calculate accurate bills and handle credit cards and money properly.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
High motivation, flexibility, and ability to take initiative.
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Ability to work the majority of a shift outdoors.

Enhanced beverage knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service and demonstrate knowledge of menu items.
Serve food and beverages promptly, courteously, efficiently, and accurately.
Support the team and keep work areas clean, dry, and safe.
Greet guests, welcome them, and promptly attend to tables.
Take guest orders and enter them quickly and accurately into the POS system.
Prepare and serve meal accompaniments.
Learn and maintain knowledge of food, wine, beverage menus, and general restaurant information.
Help ensure guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience, and relay complaints to management.
Perform sidework.
Open bottled wine for guests and provide wine service.
Set up and break down service stations, including deli, dessert, coffee, and espresso stations.
Assist with setting and bussing tables, taking to-go orders, seating guests, and answering phones as needed.
Attend required company and restaurant trainings and meetings.
Maintain communication with support staff and management.
Take on responsibilities outside the listed duties as needed.
