About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Coordinator performs accounts receivable activities across revenue, billing, and cash processes. The role supports timely claims billing, resolves denials with operations, completes month-end close tasks, and communicates with customers about claims, payments, inquiries, and account updates. The position also supports cash controls, revenue adjustments, refunds, and account-aging work.

Requirements

Two to three years of accounting-related experience.
Analytical abilities, effective communication skills, organizational skills, and a team-oriented approach.
Ability to work on multiple projects and handle multiple tasks.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively with other departments.
Knowledge of general accounting methods.
Above-average proficiency with Excel, Word, and Oracle accounting applications.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general accounts receivable functions related to revenue, billing, and cash processes.
Upload or enter revenue received from operations.
Follow the billing schedule to ensure claims are billed in a timely manner.
Work with operations to resolve denials.
Complete month-end close processes, including revenue balancing and reporting.
Lead monthly accounts receivable calls with assigned operations to address aging, and participate in monthly Critical Account calls for the region.
Follow proper procedures for revenue adjustments.
Work unapplied cash and complete cash transfers, including daily cash deposits and cash control sheets.
Assist with reviewing and processing refund requests, chargebacks, returns, and bad checks.
Respond to questions throughout the month about revenue, billing, and aging issues.
Communicate with customers in a timely manner regarding claims, invoice payments, phone inquiries, and account updates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
