About The Position

Talkspace is seeking a Revenue Cycle Associate to support the company’s financial health through accurate and organized revenue cycle work. The associate processes claims into the database, maintains records of claims and invoices, and helps ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and billing policies.

The role works with internal team members and other departments to resolve billing issues and support efficient billing practices and timely reimbursement. The position is part of Talkspace’s Operations team and contributes to the company’s mission of increasing access to mental healthcare.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or related work experience.
• Experience with electronic claims processing and/or billing software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in billing and accounting.
• Healthcare experience.
• Experience with medical billing codes and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Organize and process claims in the database accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of processed claims and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies related to claims and billing.
• Support efficient and accurate billing processes.
• Work with internal team members to resolve billing issues and support timely reimbursement.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
