About The Position

As a Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional experience for customers by providing customer service, preparing fresh food, maintaining the store, and supporting the team. The position is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store. Team Members are expected to demonstrate Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors, transition among tasks, and adapt to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Have schedule flexibility; stores operate 24/7, and work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Hold a food handler permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Meet the physical demands of frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and potentially lifting, carrying, or moving objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between roles, engage customers, stock supplies, and maintain appealing food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and support the team wherever needed.
