About The Position
Work World is hiring a part-time Retail Team Member for its Shoeteria store in Commerce, California. The role supports customers in person and over the phone, helps maintain and replenish merchandise, processes sales transactions, labels products, and supports daily sales objectives. Stores have collaborative, close-knit teams where employees can contribute directly to store success. The position pays $15.50–$16.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication, customer service, and basic math skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a professional appearance.

Responsibilities
- Provide customers with helpful information about store products and services.
- Assist customers with questions and requests in person and over the phone.
- Welcome and support customers with friendly, professional service.
- Help maintain stock levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Accurately process sales transactions, including payments and receipt distribution.
- Label merchandise and ensure pricing is displayed correctly.
- Support the team in achieving daily sales objectives.
