Retail Team Member Overnight
About The Position
As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare for the morning rush. The role includes learning different parts of the business, building skills, and contributing to the team. The listed starting pay is $14.00–$16.00 per hour, plus a $3.00-per-hour shift differential for qualifying hours. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.
Requirements
- Must be 21 or older to apply.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements described in the posting, including moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
- Transition between tasks, including engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining enticing food displays.
- Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
- Stock shelves and help prepare the store for the morning rush.
- Maintain a clean and organized store.
- Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
