About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and help prepare for the morning rush. The role offers opportunities to learn different parts of the business, build valuable skills, and contribute to the team. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have a Food Handler Permit if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the position, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing, and potentially lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer experience with every customer.
• Transition between engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and supplies, maintain a clean and organized store, and prepare it for the day ahead.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
