About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. You’ll bring Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) experience to customer interactions and have opportunities to learn different parts of the business and build valuable skills. This is a part-time overnight position. Starting pay is $13.02–$15.02 per hour, plus a $3.00 per hour shift differential for qualifying shifts. To qualify for the differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing; the role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
• Transition between customer service, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean and organized.
• Help prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
