About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you will help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You will stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role includes learning different parts of the business, building skills, and contributing to the team. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing; reaching above shoulder level and below the waist; and lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer.
• Transition between engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
