About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you’ll help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You’ll stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role offers opportunities to learn different parts of the business, build skills, and contribute to the team. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• To qualify for the shift differential, must work a minimum of five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) experience with every customer.
• Transition between customer service, stocking supplies, and maintaining appealing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Assist customers.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while using appropriate personal protective equipment.
