About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you will help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You will stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role involves learning different parts of the business and building valuable skills while contributing to the team. To qualify for the shift differential, you must work a minimum of five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to perform the physical activities described, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing.
• May need to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) customer experience with every customer.
• Transition between engaging customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining enticing food displays.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
• Stock shelves and prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Maintain a clean and organized store.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
