Retail Team Member Overnight
About The Position
As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you will help create an exceptional customer experience and prepare the store for the day ahead. You will stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and help ensure the location is clean, stocked, safe, and ready for the morning rush. The role also includes preparing food and keeping displays clean and ready for customer use in a dynamic, multitasking environment. This is a part-time overnight position. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and available to work weekends. To qualify for the shift differential, team members must work at least five hours between midnight and 6 a.m. The role involves frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pushing, and potentially lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Team members must work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching.
- Must be able to reach above shoulder level and below the waist, and bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and push.
- May need to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic, multitasking environment.
- Transition between engaging with customers, stocking supplies, and maintaining food displays.
- Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
- Stock shelves and prepare the store for the day ahead.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store.
- Adapt quickly to changing situations and provide service in fast-paced circumstances.
- Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
