About The Position

As an Overnight Retail Team Member at Maverik, you will help create an exceptional customer experience while keeping the store ready for the day ahead. You will stock shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist customers, and prepare the store for the morning rush. The role involves demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors, switching between customer service, stocking, and maintaining food displays, and adapting to changing situations in a fast-paced environment. This is a part-time overnight opportunity. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and available to work weekends. A Food Handler Permit is required if applicable to the store, county, or jurisdiction. To qualify for the shift differential, team members must work at least five hours between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Food Handler Permit, if required by the applicable store, county, or jurisdiction.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent standing, walking, handling, reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing, and may need to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with high-temperature equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Stock shelves and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and enticing store and food displays.
• Assist customers and help prepare the store for the morning rush.
• Transition between customer service, stocking, and other store tasks.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
