About The Position

As a Retail Team Member at Maverik, you will help create an exceptional experience for every customer and keep the store running smoothly. This position is cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store. You may prepare food, assist customers, maintain the store, stock supplies, and support the team wherever needed. The role requires adapting to a fast-paced environment and demonstrating Maverik’s GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors with every customer. Store schedules may require flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A food handler permit is required if applicable to the store, county, or jurisdiction.

• Able to perform frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching; reach above shoulder level and below the waist; bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and push; and lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by consistently demonstrating GET (Greet, Engage, and Thank) behaviors.
• Transition between roles, engage customers, stock supplies, and maintain appealing food displays.
• Prepare Maverik recipes and ensure food displays are clean and ready for customer use.
• Adapt to changing situations and provide service in a fast-paced environment.
• Help keep the store running smoothly and assist the team wherever needed.
