About The Position

The Retail Team Member Sales role supports store sales and daily operations by providing excellent customer service, assisting customers in selecting and locating merchandise, and maintaining the sales floor. The position operates the point-of-sale system, credit card terminal, and cash accurately, and answers telephone calls. Team members maintain merchandise displays and store appearance, including managing hangers and textile sizing, returning empty racks and carts to the production area, restocking merchandise, and performing necessary cleaning throughout the store. Other duties may be requested. The store is open seven days a week, from 8 AM to 7 PM, and workdays and hours vary, with two days off per week. Open schedule availability is preferred.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or a team.
• Proficiency in basic math, reading, and writing.
• Ability to operate computerized equipment, including a POS system, credit card draft terminal, and pricing system.
• Ability to meet quotas and make pricing decisions based on product quality.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
• Physical stamina to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand for prolonged periods, stoop, reach up to six feet with a ladder if needed, and pull, push, and lift 50 pounds; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
• Sufficient mobility to work in any area of the facility.
• Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements and ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.

Responsibilities
