About The Position

The Retail Team Member Sales position is based at Store #57 at 989 Walnut Creek Drive, Suite 151, Mansfield, Texas. This is a full-time role for 40 hours per week, with days and hours that vary and two days off per week. The store is open seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM; open schedule availability is preferred. The pay rate is $14.82 per hour. The team member provides customer service and sales-floor support, operates point-of-sale and payment equipment, and helps maintain merchandise and store cleanliness. Physical stamina and mobility are needed to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and across any area of the facility. Hiring requirements include I-9 documentation, a background check, drug screen, and physical examination. Requirements

At least one year of experience in a work or educational setting demonstrating the ability to interact positively with the public or a team.
Proficiency in basic math and the ability to read and write.
Ability to operate computerized equipment, including a POS system, credit card draft terminal, and pricing system.
Ability to meet quotas and make pricing decisions based on product quality.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and associates.
Physical stamina to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods, stoop, reach up to six feet using a ladder if needed, and pull, push, and lift 50 pounds; heavier lifting may be required with assistance.
Sufficient mobility to work in any area of the facility.
Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements, and successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.

Responsibilities

Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and credit card terminal, handle cash, and answer telephones.
Provide friendly, courteous, and attentive customer service, including greeting customers within seconds of their arrival.
Assist customers on the sales floor with selecting and locating merchandise.
Maintain hangers and size textiles on the sales floor.
Return empty racks and carts to the production area and restock depleted merchandise.
Maintain the overall appearance of the sales floor and perform necessary cleaning throughout the store.
Perform other duties as requested.
