Retail Team Lead
About The Position
Clarks is hiring a part-time Retail Team Lead to support store operations and sales. The Team Lead may serve as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, help organize merchandise and back stock, oversee incoming shipments, and maintain a clean work environment. The role also involves training and coaching employees, delivering customer service, supporting sales through appropriate upselling, representing the Clarks brand, following loss-prevention procedures, and fostering a comfortable workplace for colleagues. The position requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, climbing, moving ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
- Consistently deliver positive sales performance.
- Organize store merchandise and back stock and ensure proper product placement.
- Oversee receipt of shipments and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in training and coaching employees on policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Upsell multiple pairs and accessories when appropriate.
- Represent the Clarks brand.
- Follow policies and procedures related to loss prevention and shrinkage.
- Create a comfortable work environment for colleagues.
