Retail-Team Lead
About The Position
Clarks is hiring a part-time Team Lead for its retail team. The Team Lead supports store operations and sales, serves as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, and helps train and coach employees. The role includes organizing merchandise and back stock, overseeing shipments, maintaining a clean work environment, providing customer service, and following loss-prevention policies. Team Leads are expected to exemplify the Clarks brand and help create a comfortable work environment for colleagues. The position requires standing for extended periods, frequent bending, climbing and moving ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.
- Consistently deliver positive sales performance.
- Organize store merchandise and back stock and ensure products are properly placed.
- Oversee receipt of shipments and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist with training and coaching employees on policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Upsell customers on multiple pairs of shoes and accessories when appropriate.
- Exemplify the Clarks brand.
- Follow policies and procedures related to loss prevention and shrinkage.
- Help create a comfortable work environment for colleagues.
