About The Position

The Retail Team Lead is a seasonal member of The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge retail team, assisting with operation of the on-site merchandise store. The Ripken Experience Pigeon Forge is a sports complex in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, hosting youth baseball tournaments. The role works under the Retail Coordinator and supports the retail operation while helping provide a positive experience for tournament participants. The anticipated start is immediate, with the end date listed as August/November.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of work experience.
• Outgoing, friendly, and high-energy personality with strong initiative.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to work during the day or evening as determined by the supervisor.
• Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
• Provide customer service and assist customers on and off the sales floor.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary retail shop.
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager, Facilities Manager, and Operations Staff as needed.
• Work with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently and provide a positive experience for tournament participants.
• Absorb training and demonstrate initiative in upholding the values of the Ripken name and brand.
