Seasonal Retail Support Associate - Shoe Expeditor, Freehold Raceway
About The Position
As a Shoe Expeditor in the Women’s Shoe department, you help ensure smooth store operations by quickly locating and delivering products to selling colleagues, keeping the department clean and organized, and providing exceptional customer service. The role calls for a sense of urgency, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position involves assisting customers, conducting sales transactions, pulling and staging stockroom orders, helping fulfill digital orders, maintaining displays and inventory, processing new and damaged merchandise, and keeping pricing and signage accurate. Colleagues use technology to update product prices, promotions, and information in accordance with company guidelines and policies. The role requires flexible availability for retail shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. It also involves substantial standing and movement, lifting, reaching, and frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, provide assistance, and promptly address concerns to support a positive shopping experience.
- Conduct sales transactions, operate cash registers, handle payments, and process exchanges and returns.
- Quickly and accurately pull orders from the stockroom and stage them for sales colleagues.
- Locate and pull merchandise to fulfill digital customer orders.
- Arrange and replenish displays to maintain an orderly, visually appealing store.
- Organize the stockroom, process new and damaged items, perform shoe inventory, and scan items back into stock.
- Maintain accurate department pricing and signage, using technology to update prices, promotions, and product and fixture information according to company guidelines and policies.
- Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
