As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you help deliver a seamless, inspiring in-store experience. You execute merchandise movement and placement strategies, enhance the sales floor’s visual appeal, maintain organized and shoppable displays, and keep pricing and promotional signage accurate and current. You provide a visible, welcoming presence, greet customers, and offer assistance. Working with colleagues across departments, you support shared goals, sales, and a culture of hospitality and positivity. Daily work includes preparing and organizing the sales floor, supporting visual merchandising by updating mannequins and resetting layouts, and aligning presentations with company directives. You welcome customers, listen to their needs, and provide thoughtful assistance and product guidance. You recover sales floors and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, replenish merchandise, and support merchandise moves. You share loyalty-program benefits, help customers complete their shopping, and thank them. You also collaborate with the team to reorganize and restock the department, meet sales goals, and prepare for the next day. The role requires flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with dependable attendance and punctuality. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 30 or more hours per week; part-time colleagues are typically scheduled for 12–24 hours per week. Schedules include weekend shifts, and hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The job involves frequent customer interaction, sales and loyalty-program support, point-of-sale technology, and physical activity including standing, moving, lifting, reaching, and climbing ladders.
