About The Position

Legends Global is hiring a part-time Retail Supervisor to help create a welcoming, polished experience for members and guests at the 1922 Club and its event gift shops at Ohio State University. The role combines retail sales and operations with guest arrival support. The supervisor greets guests, recommends merchandise, processes transactions accurately, maintains merchandise and inventory, and assists with shop setup. They also support Club access and dining arrivals by verifying membership, checking reservations, communicating with the host team, answering arrival-related questions, and helping guests transition into the Club. The position is on site and may involve extended hours on event days, including OSU home football games.

Requirements

High school graduate, GED, or equivalent experience in a comparable company.
Accuracy in opening and closing procedures.
Ability to accept constructive feedback and make necessary changes.
Excellent customer service and selling skills.
Willingness to work extended hours on event days, including OSU home football games.
Ability to work nontraditional hours, including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to perform duties and responsibilities in other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

Greet guests, determine their interests, and recommend merchandise.
Use POS systems accurately.
Clean and restock the store and complete other tasks assigned by management.
Present merchandise and suggest add-on items to increase sales.
Describe merchandise features and benefits and explain how products are used.
Maintain inventory, merchandise placement, and accurate counts, and assist with inventory.
Continually increase knowledge of products, the facility, and campus events.
Assist the store setup team with merchandising event gift shops, including plan-o-grams, merchandise placement, inventory control, and cleaning shops and fixtures.
Serve as the first and final point of contact for members and guests, providing a warm welcome and farewell.
Verify membership and confirm that guests are accompanied by a sponsoring member before entry to the main Club level.
Check in members and guests for dining reservations and promptly communicate arrivals to the main-floor host team.
Give directions and answer questions about Club access, parking, valet service, and other arrival needs.
Monitor the entrance and guest flow, keep the arrival area organized, and escalate access or reservation issues to Club management.
Offer assistance or an escort into the Club when appropriate.
Maintain a professional presence at the entrance and protect member privacy and confidentiality.
Thank members and guests as they depart.
Open or close a retail store and maintain accuracy in opening and closing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned and adapt responsibilities to support other areas as needed.
