The Retail Store Manager leads and manages all aspects of the store, spending the vast majority of time on managerial responsibilities rather than non-managerial tasks such as cashiering, setting planograms, or stocking shelves. The role is accountable for leading the team to deliver a great customer experience and achieve results, ensuring readiness to deliver Customer Brand Promises, and planning and communicating workload activities and KPIs so work is executed within budget. The Store Manager oversees compliance with standard operating procedures, company programs, policies, and applicable laws; delivers sales and profit plans and other KPIs; leads customer experience, shrink, and safety programs; and staffs, trains, coaches, and develops Team Members. The position also serves as Manager on Duty and maintains operational understanding across store departments, ensuring managers are cross-trained in Custom Framing sales and production. The role is based in a public retail store. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Public areas are climate controlled, while some stock rooms may not be; some outdoor work is also required. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, stretching, and sometimes lifting heavy items or accessing high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
