About The Position
Goodwill Industries, Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Manager for its retail locations in Lancaster, Ohio: East Lancaster Goodwill at 1151 East Main St, Lancaster, OH 43130, and West Lancaster Goodwill at 505 West Fair Ave, Lancaster, OH 43130. The Store Manager manages overall retail store operations, with a focus on operational efficiency, customer service, process improvement, productivity, quality, data-driven decision-making, and measurable results. The manager leads store operations to achieve budgeted revenue, expenses, and net profit by implementing Goodwill Industries policies and procedures. The role includes supervising and scheduling store activities and performing hands-on retail and operational duties as needed. A background check will be completed at the time of hire, with results reviewed by HR and upper management to determine employment eligibility. Responsibilities
- Manage, direct, and lead retail store operations to achieve budgeted revenue, expenses, and net profit.
- Implement Goodwill Industries policies and procedures.
- Supervise and schedule truck driver duties, donation processing, stocking, merchandising and displaying, cashiering, and customer service.
- Sort donations, hang clothing, and price and display merchandise.
- Provide customer service and operate the register.
- Work on the sales floor and perform custodial services.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
