TCC - NY Ridge Hill - FT - Retail Sales Manager
About The Position
The Retail Store Manager (RSM) leads the full operation of a TCC Wireless retail store and serves as a connection between customers and the T-Mobile brand. The role operates in a fast-paced, high-energy wireless retail environment and combines customer service, consultative sales, store operations, revenue performance, and team leadership. The manager is responsible for staffing, employee performance, inventory, store standards, compliance, and payment handling while building relationships with customers and colleagues. This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 45 hours per week, including availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in a T-Mobile or other wireless retail environment.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Operational and financial performance management skills, especially site P&L management.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a retail environment.
- Availability for a full-time schedule of at least 45 hours per week.
- Professional, energetic, honest, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to problem solve, analyze results, plan for the future, make sound decisions, stay organized, adapt to change, think strategically, build relationships, and coach and develop others.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to stand for long periods on the sales floor.
- Ability to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Provide world-class customer service by greeting customers, answering phones, and assessing customer needs.
- Manage full store operations, including staffing, employee performance, opening and closing, service levels, and inventory.
- Drive monthly revenue goals by acquiring new customer accounts, maximizing existing accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and meeting quality metrics.
- Lead by example by exceeding organizational sales goals and performance metrics.
- Hire, develop, motivate, and manage a high-performing team.
- Manage store inventory, product shipments, customer returns, trade-in devices, demo devices, and store supplies.
- Ensure compliance with audits and paperwork security requirements.
- Manage cash, credit card, and other payment handling, including register management.
- Maintain the store, back room, restrooms, and individual work area according to retail standards.
- Provide consultative sales and service on the sales floor.
- Translate broader business initiatives into clear team objectives and individual goals, coordinating with other groups as appropriate.
- Share accountability for routine and important tasks and decisions.
- Monitor team progress and results, provide ongoing coaching, and make tough decisions when appropriate.
- Keep current with evolving wireless technology.
- Explore customer needs and assist with service activations, account changes, bill payments, equipment replacements, accessory sales, price plan changes, and upgrades.
- Build relationships with TCC Wireless employees and customers across business channels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company at community events and foster a positive brand image.
