About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) for its EZPawn store in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The role offers a career path with paid initial training, leadership development, and preparation for a future Assistant Manager position. After completing the initial five-week paid training program, the employee earns a $0.50-per-hour raise and transitions to Lead Pawnbroker. The Assistant Manager development path includes a six-month training program.

The Shift Leader provides customer service, builds customer relationships, promotes sales, negotiates pawn transactions, and helps create a friendly, courteous, and respectful store environment. The position also involves leading, coaching, and supervising Team Members, as well as opening and closing the store.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience as a supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation skills, and ability to understand and manage customer needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with good judgment and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build ongoing customer relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers.
• Promote sales and negotiate deals involving a wide variety of pawn items.
• Process loans and extensions.
• Reach mutually satisfactory terms with customers for items to be pawned.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and coach store Team Members through leadership and hands-on involvement.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment for customers.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
