About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder), also referred to in the posting as a Lead Pawn Broker, for its EZPawn store at 560 Malley Drive, Northglenn, Colorado 80233. The role provides customer service, promotes sales, negotiates pawn transactions, and leads and coaches store Team Members in a fast-paced retail environment. The position offers a structured career path, including an initial five-week paid training program; successful completion brings a $0.50-per-hour raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Team Members may also train for an Assistant Manager position through a six-month training program.

The pay range is $17.00 to $18.50 per hour, based on experience, with monthly uncapped bonus potential based on store and individual performance. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience as a supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation skills, and ability to understand and manage customer needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with sound judgment and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build ongoing customer relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items, such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual ability.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Promote sales and negotiate deals involving a wide variety of pawn items.
• Process loans and extensions.
• Agree with customers on mutually satisfactory terms for items to be pawned.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise, coach, and influence store Team Members through hands-on involvement.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations.
