About The Position

EZCORP is hiring a Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) for its EZPawn location in Norman, Oklahoma. The role provides customer service, promotes sales, negotiates deals involving a wide variety of pawn items, and helps create a friendly, courteous, and respectful store environment. The Shift Lead also leads and influences Team Members through coaching and hands-on involvement.

The position offers a structured career path, including a paid five-week initial training program. After completing the program, employees receive a $0.50-per-hour raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker. Employees may also pursue leadership training and train for an Assistant Manager position through a six-month program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience as a supervisor, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Adherence to all Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Engaging personality, solid leadership, strong negotiation skills, and ability to understand and manage customer needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent judgment and strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to build ongoing customer relationships.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms, or electronics.
• Sales background.
• Bilingual.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and build solid relationships with customers.
• Promote sales and negotiate deals for a wide variety of pawn items.
• Process loans and extensions.
• Reach mutually satisfactory terms regarding items to be pawned.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and coach store Team Members.
• Follow Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
