About The Position
As a Macy’s Women's Clothing Selling Support colleague, you help customers express their personal style and make fashion inspiring through genuine, engaging conversations, hospitality, trend awareness, and product knowledge. You circulate the sales floor to understand customer needs, explain loyalty program benefits, and guide customers through a seamless shopping experience. You also maintain merchandise standards, support fitting room and sales floor upkeep, and assist with fulfillment to keep the area polished and ready for shoppers. The role centers on customer service, selling, achieving goals, teamwork, and creating welcoming experiences. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and popular products, and staying current on trends and promotions. They engage customers, build relationships, recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty benefits, and help customers complete their visit. They collaborate with colleagues and work to improve individual and store results.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.

- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and process register transactions.

- Use register and handheld equipment to process transactions and perform job functions.
