About The Position

The Retail Security Supervisor leads a security team, supports daily operations, and helps ensure a safe environment for everyone onsite. The role supervises security staff while also performing Security Officer duties when needed. It includes enforcing security procedures, responding to emergencies, training staff, coordinating with authorities, communicating with operations management, conducting inspections, managing staff sign-in and sign-out, and assisting with payroll and personnel management. The position calls for a strong, motivating leader who communicates clearly, remains composed under stress, understands security operations and technology, and is organized, proactive, solution-focused, and effective at coaching and developing teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of security experience, including 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid State Guard License.
• Strong knowledge of security operations.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Strong leadership, communication, composure under stress, understanding of security operations and technology, organization, proactive problem-solving, and team coaching and development skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
