About The Position

ScanScape is hiring a permanent part-time Retail Scan Associate to collect in-store product data at assigned local retailers. Associates visit designated stores each week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks, and use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations throughout the store, including end caps. Associates are also asked to report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The data collected is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance.

The position’s base workload averages 2–6 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with greater demand from January through June. Custom Projects requesting more detailed information about products in their main stocking locations occur almost every week and may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work per store in those weeks. Associates must complete store visits within stated deadlines; full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The role offers workplace independence, some flexibility in working hours, and consistent work. It involves continuous physical activity during the work shift. The listed route includes convenience stores in Oklahoma City, Shawnee, and McLoud, and a grocery store in Harrah, Oklahoma. The grocery store route lists Wednesday and Thursday as available workdays; the convenience store routes list Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
