About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data that is analyzed to improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates also provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

The position involves in-store data collection at assigned retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Base hours average 3–6 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Special projects are frequently assigned and typically add 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and are expected to work dependably and accurately while working independently. The role provides some flexibility in scheduling, subject to client requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.

Responsibilities
