About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to collect in-store data by scanning product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products they scan.

This permanent part-time role covers assigned stores and is expected to involve 4–10 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Special projects are frequently assigned and typically add 1–2 hours per week per store. Work is scheduled every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Associates must meet weekly deadlines; scheduling details are reviewed during the interview. The position offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours, balanced with client requirements and continuous physical activity during the shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
