As a part-time Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, representing Hallmark and maintaining product displays and inventory. You collaborate with local store teams, build retailer relationships, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve working with other companies’ products in stores you service. The work has three primary components: day-to-day merchandising, holiday support, and department resets. Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Seasonal periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours, and work on certain holidays may be required. Reset assignments can include installing fixtures, relocating departments or products, and resetting card sections; these assignments may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may also assist team members in other territories. This physically demanding position involves working on sales floors and in stockrooms. The schedule is variable during the work week, averaging 5–8 hours per week, with availability required around major holidays and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Starting pay is $12.00–$14.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours may access voluntary benefits.
