About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan products and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. Collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly display scanning throughout their assigned stores, which can take several hours, and may also perform custom projects requested by clients. Custom projects occur almost every week and typically add 1–2 hours per store. Work must be completed within weekly deadlines, including during holiday weeks. The position averages 2–6 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload; additional project hours are frequently assigned, with higher demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

The role offers workplace independence and some flexibility in working hours. It involves continuous physical activity throughout the workday. The position is permanent and part-time, with assignments in grocery and convenience stores in the listed route area.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods and access products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
