About The Position

Glens Falls Hospital is hiring a CT Technologist to perform computerized tomography procedures in partnership with Radiologists. The role uses technical judgment, expertise, and radiation-protection practices to produce precise scans while providing patients with physical, emotional, and age-specific care. The hospital offers Radiologic Technologists and new graduates a pathway to obtain ARRT CT registry certification within up to one year. The position also supports professional development, continuous learning, and the use of diagnostic technology.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology Program.
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Active ARRT registration.
• ARRT CT certification or eligibility for the registry; CT certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtain it at the time of hire.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of general radiologic technologist experience with CT exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams safely and accurately according to established departmental protocols.
• Provide customer service and patient education, and perform radiation safety checks during imaging procedures.
• Maintain precise patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS platforms.
• Supervise and educate imaging students rotating through clinical settings.
• Collaborate on workflow improvement projects.
• Assist with patient transport.
• Troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain a clean and stocked imaging environment.
