CT Technologist - CT Scan
About The Position
Under the direction of the Department Director, with day-to-day supervision from the Lead Technologist and/or Manager and close collaboration with Radiologists, the CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities according to department standards and age-specific criteria. The role serves patients, their families, the public, and medical staff as a customer service representative; participates in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities; and serves as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists. The technologist participates in the call schedule and remains flexible with job assignments and shifts to meet department staffing needs. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
- Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist license.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: National Registered Technologist—Radiography credential from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist—Computed Tomography credential.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging center performing pediatric and adult CT scans.
