About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retail stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned.

This permanent part-time role averages 5–11 base hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional special-project hours are frequently assigned throughout the year, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, with higher demand from January through June. Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store. Associates must meet store deadlines and provide dependable, quality-driven work. The role involves continuous physical activity and offers some independence and flexibility in scheduling. Work is performed at assigned retail stores every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Must be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
