About The Position

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit assigned local retailers each week throughout the year, including holiday weeks, and collect in-store product data. Associates use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps, and report quantities for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

The role involves weekly Display Scanning throughout the entire store, which can take several hours, as well as Custom Projects requested by clients. Custom Projects occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet weekly deadlines and complete work accurately and dependably. The position offers independence and some flexibility in scheduling, subject to personal scheduling needs and client requirements.

The position is permanent and part-time. Base hours average three hours biweekly across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically one to two hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with greater demand from January through June. Full scheduling details will be reviewed during the interview. The assigned route is a convenience store in Liberal, Kansas, with available workdays Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach six feet, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
