About The Position

This permanent part-time role averages 5–12 base hours per week across assigned stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional work, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, is frequently assigned for special projects throughout the year, with greater demand from January through June. Full scheduling details are reviewed during the interview.

Retail Scan Associates visit designated local stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to collect data, including quantities for about 45% of scanned products. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

Associates complete weekly display scanning across the entire store, which can take several hours, and may complete custom projects that add 30 minutes to two hours per store in a given week. Work is performed year-round for 52 weeks, including holiday weeks, and weekly deadlines must be met. The role involves continuous physical activity and offers workplace independence and some flexibility in hours.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
