About The Position

ScanScape Retail Scan Associates visit assigned local retailers each week to scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. They use a downloadable mobile-phone app to scan products and provide quantity information for about 45% of the products scanned. The collected data is analyzed to help improve product and retailer sales performance.

This permanent part-time position covers assigned stores weekly for 52 weeks per year, including holiday weeks. Display scanning is completed throughout the entire store each week and may take several hours. Custom Projects, which provide additional product details in main stocking locations, occur almost every week and can add 30 minutes to two hours of work per store. Associates must meet store deadlines and deliver accurate data. The stated base workload averages 3–6 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and workload. Additional hours, typically 1–2 hours per week per store, are frequently assigned for special projects, with higher demand from January through June. The route lists a Walmart in Fairbury, Nebraska, available Sunday through Tuesday, and a convenience store in Beatrice, Nebraska, available Sunday through Thursday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Have a reliable vehicle and at least the minimum state-required auto insurance coverage.
• Be able to remain on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout a store.
• Be able to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend, stretch, stoop, and stand.
• Be able to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Have attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Be tech savvy.
